Nice pictures :) Love how beautiful the red looks everywhere...
WOW! What an amazing burst of color and energy! How could one not be happy in that city of yours? We do celebrate the arts here in Grand Rapids, Michigan (USA), but somehow it doesn't seem to reach this eye popping level!
Fab photos especially the first one :-)Have a redtastic week :-)
Such bright and cheerful reds
Those are some big Roosters! Cool!
I like the roosters at the opera house. Auckland has a lantern festival but I couldn't attend this year.
Red is my favorite color. I love the roosters - how cool!http://www.anapeladay.com/2017/02/ww-face-linky.html
Ah snap, I will have to wander up to the Opera house to see the rooster.
My ex-husband, our daughter and myself are all born in the year of the Rooster! Loved those Roosters at the Opera House and all the Red. Great images. Thanks! Sue from Sizzling Towards 60 & Beyond.
I'm in Hervey Bay in Qld and though a few businesses make note of the Chinese New Year the town itself doesn't! I LOVE those two roosters in your top picture. How gorgeous! #teamlovinlife
Yes we do have a small Chinatown precinct on the Gold Coast at Southport, but I haven't visited yet. I hear it was all brightly decorated for the Chinese New Year. We were in Singapore for the celebration last year and it was amazing!
Thank you for the rooster photo! We were in Circular Quay as they were being built but never got to see the finished product. You put a smile on my face. #teamlovinlife
I love those Roosters near the Opera House - how colourful and special! Thanks Lydia - you've brightened my day :) #TeamLovinLife
Lots of red (love that colour) but my favourite is the roosters! Gorgeous! :-) #TeamLovinLife
No it doesn't seem to but maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Lots of winter fests this month, going to another one this Saturday. Great photos and color.
Those opera house roosters are huge. We didn't step out for Chinese New Year but I did cook up a colourful feast with some friends.
My city didn't do decorating for Lunar New Year, but if we'd had those lucky red gates at my mall, I'd have spent hours snapping selfies on the escalator. :)
