It's been a strange week here. One of the kiddos has been in Japan, so the house has been strangely empty, heralding that future soon to come.

I had an operation, and while it's all fine, I'm on a soft diet so eating in a manner which I never do. I also can't do my usual things, so I feel quite in limbo.

It is feeling like a stranger in familiar surroundings. The view is the same but also different.

I am really looking forward to getting my normal back, even though a week ago I was feeling overwhelmed by my normal. As John Spence said "Sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things clearly."
