I live up on the Central Coast and have friends who live in Marrickville. I was there not long before the first Sydney lockdown.
I've done a few posts showing life in lockdown as well. I think it's important to document what it's been like. We are living through history. Well, we always are but some times more so than others.
No doubt you have thoughts about the sudden departure of our fearless leader, Gladys. I quite liked her and found her quite reassuring during the pandemic. I think ICAC could've waited a few weeks until we were out of lockdown. I feel somewhat lost without her at the helm.I guess it's a case of "Watch this space".
I've become quite fascinated by Ethel Turner, author of Seven Little Australians during this lockdown. That's led to a new blog.
I hope opening up goes well for us. I'll still be playing it safe for awhile yet.
Best wishes,
Rowena from Tea With Ethel TurnerRowenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16888037107234940708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119733539095505639.post-26962315765403630862021-10-04T04:43:33.584-07:002021-10-04T04:43:33.584-07:00Yes, the football contingent certainly seem a diff...Yes, the football contingent certainly seem a different breed to us mere mortals. We're only one active case away from things locking down or whatever, so it's really just a matter of time.
