I'm still on holidays, but just had an idea if anyone is after a little holiday fun.
I've taken to running with one of my kids, and as we traipse the neighbourhood, I've noticed a number of perfectly normal houses that with the right angle, would look haunted.
So for the rest of the month, tweet or facebook me (or any of the other SM platforms but I'm not on them) any of the shots you take with the #Haunted2015
I trust you are all having a wonderful break, had a merry christmas and fabulous new year celebration.
I will be back in awhile, but in the mean time, here's the start of my collection.

They DO look haunted! I will keep an eye out while out and about and see if I see anything. -Aroha
ReplyDeleteOh! I am soooo doing this Lydia! What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteAwesome shots Lydia!
ReplyDeleteOoooooooh! Haunted indeed! Well done.
ReplyDeleteLeanne @ Deep Fried Fruit
Spooky! :D
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool! I wonder if I can make my own house look haunted.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea. I will too!
DeleteSeriously, I think your neighbourhood might really be haunted!
ReplyDeleteThese are easily million dollar houses that look lovely in whole view...that's what appealed to me - the kookiness of one tiny focus
DeleteIts freaky how a sepia or black and white filter can make stuff look so scary!

ReplyDeleteGreat idea - will see what I can do! Shame you're not on Instagram - this seems made for it!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from #teamIBOT x
Wow these shots are great. It's amazing what a good filter can do.
ReplyDeleteI love how sepia and B&W photos can just change the complete feeling of a photo. I reckon some of the houses in our neighbourhood are haunted. We have a cemetery just up the road too. Might take some shots for you :) x
ReplyDeleteOooh, totally creepy!
ReplyDeleteSo true! It's creepy! I think with the tight angle my own house would look haunted. It's on top of a steep hill with verandas and awnings / all the fixin's... x
ReplyDeleteSpooky and fun!
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious - and they DO look haunted!! LOL
ReplyDeleteThese look very cool #openslather
ReplyDeleteAwesome shots! I am definitely down with this. Will give me a good excuse to take the girls walking around. When I get a chance I'll post a pic I took of my in-laws place at night, it could totally be haunted!
ReplyDeleteLove all those photos! You never know, some of those houses may well have an eerie story behind them. Wooo-ooo! :) I remember there was a house I used to walk past, it felt like it had too many ghosts!
ReplyDeleteFew very spoooooooky looking shots there. The black and white and sepia tone seem to emphasis it more.
ReplyDeleteSome of these are seriously spooky, Lydia!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!!
ReplyDeleteIt's surprising the difference it makes taking the colour out of photos. These DO look haunted. Some of my pics of places in England that supposedly are haunted don't look as spooky as some of these!
ReplyDeleteSpooky indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking up at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/08/double-play-on-way.html. And enjoy the rest of your holiday!
Definitely not your typical blog photos!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea! There are so many places down here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast that could meet that definition - I may have to go out perhaps next weekend with that idea in mind - start collecting "haunted" looking images for a whole series of photos. Thank you for the idea!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for joining us for Photo Friday this week!
Your right they do look eerie the way you have taken them great idea :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for pirouetting by :-)
B&W is really amazing in giving a photo a mood! These looks spooky!
ReplyDeleteThe property does look spooky! Love the photos. Take care, have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteAbandoned, overgrown, weathered places always seem a bit haunted. That was also the case with the yellow house in which we shot parts of the film...
ReplyDeleteHugs, Traude
PS: I also liked your Japanese lady with the globe (?) - I thought I would meet her here in this post ;-)
I agree the place looks very spooky and haunted. Thanks for sharing this with us as your second look on the 2nd.
