We had a gorgeous time showing friends from Greece around last week.
On the harbour.
In the bush...
To the beach.
West Head Beach |
With some native wildlife. In the wild. Sort of. (Technically in the toilet and then the car park and THEN the bush.)
From high...
And low.
I live here but every time I show off its features, I fall a little more in love with my beautiful city.
If you don't love Sydney, you just aren't doing it right....

I love showing off Sydney to overseas visitors and seeing it through their eyes!
ReplyDeleteSydney truly is a spectacular city.

Having been born and spent the first 30 years of my life on Lower North Shore and the harbour foreshores, these photos brought back beautiful memories for me. Sydney will always be in my heart even though I don't live there now. You can't beat the harbour! xx
ReplyDeleteEven though I don't live in Sydney anymore - and am happy that I don't - this is still a city that I'm inordinately proud of & used to love showing off. There is honestly no place like it.
ReplyDeleteI love being a tourist in my own town and showing it off to others. I think it's almost impossible not to fall in love with our beautiful city!
ReplyDeleteFabulous shots of a lovely city, it is always amazing how we fall in love with our home more when showing it to visitors! #lifethisweek

One of my favorite places. Wish I could see it again, but age takes a toll.
ReplyDeletethat are wonderful photos and great animals!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it a must that people should show their city to visitors and feel pride in where they live. Sydney is a beautiful city.
ReplyDeleteIt's a favourite place to show off for me too...even if I don't live there any more. My Dad used to take visitors to West Head too. I am not a goanna or any lizard fan ....sorry. Love the 'on the water' shots. In June, I may be taking some friends from NZ on my version of a Harbour Cruise. The ferry to the Zoo and back. It will be winter and in the arvo so that will do. Lots to see just with that ride. Thank you for linking up for Life This Week. Next week's optional prompt is: 11/51 My Neighbourhood 16.3.2020. Hope to see you there too. Denyse.
ReplyDeleteBlue skies, blue water, looks like a perfect day to be out and about.

Sydney looks absolutely beautiful (not affected by fire in any way?) Thanks for linking up with #globalblogging
ReplyDeleteWe had smoke and ash for months - it was disgusting. All gone now. The real damage was in the country side.
DeleteIt’s truly a beautiful city and I wish I could see it in person. Your virtual tour is the next best thing. Your friends were lucky to have you as their guides in real life!
