So I guess I'm just loving fun and friends and all the good things in life.
Something Gleaned: I learnt Old Spice was originally a fragrence for women. And that the tonsils are part of the immune system. And barbers used to perform surgery. None of these are important. I just found them interesting and they came up in weird ways in the last week.
Something Braved or Saved: I've been enjoying this podcast (there's some sort of problem and it's been taken down briefly but it's definitely worth listening to when it goes back up - there are some old ones on Audible.
Something Achieved: Not achieved anything of note. Getting this corssed off the list, very busy but really can't say anything with pride or worth mentioning. I guess I really need to get some Christmas shopping achieved...
That scavenger hunt looked awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat scavenger hunt looks like so much fun and Old Spice for women, who knew? The time difference is very favourable for World Cup games here so we've been watching them morning, noon and night, literally!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your 4 things posts Lydia and I love the idea of all those people in character wandering around the streets - such a happy thought. Also barbers were the first dentists too - obviously steady hands were part of the job description - quick beard trim / tonsils out / tooth extracted...... all in a days work.
ReplyDeleteWait, Old Spice was originally for women? That's fascinating and now I want to know more! ;-) My young adult daughter has preferred Old Spice deodorant for herself for quite a few years now, and maybe she's onto something! Visiting from SFS
ReplyDeleteSo many interesting bits here Lydia! I learnt a lot from your post considering it was about 4 things :)
ReplyDeleteThat scavenger hunt looks like so much fun!
ReplyDelete...your summery pictures are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHI Lydia this is my favourite part of your post 'So I guess I'm just loving fun and friends and all the good things in life.' Keep enjoying the good things in life! #WWandP
ReplyDeleteYou are in your element here in this post...and I am guessing also tired out because of Australia's win over Denmark last night!! Thanks so much for joining in this week’s WWandPics link up where I got to celebrate being 73. Still getting used to the new number…Here we are, it’s December and there are 3 more weeks to link up till I take a short break. I always enjoy seeing your blog pop up on the website. Take care, Denyse.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful collection of photos!
ReplyDelete...wonderful things to share.
ReplyDeleteomg old spice, boy does that bring back memories, my father use to use it when I was growing up and it's still around.
ReplyDeleteThat was interesting bits of details about Old Spice. My Dad has worn Old Spice products since I was a kid. My youngest son has used their products a lot too.
ReplyDeleteThat podcast does sound worth listening to just from the title of it.
Keep having fun with family and friends and loving all the good things in life. Thank you for your weekend coffee share.
ReplyDeleteThat stranger looks like a fun guy#dreamteam
ReplyDeleteLoved this post! The podcast sounds interesting, it's not on Spotify either but I'll check back. Thanks for sharing your Four Somethings!
ReplyDeleteI did not watch the Cup, I prefer to hear the results...
ReplyDeleteTo love the fun, the friends and all the good things in life, I think it's perfect. Or mandatory...
Thank you for entering in the game with this lovely post.
Happy WW!
Delightful somethings. I'd just splashed on some Old Spice before discovering its origin! Not a footie fan myself (even less so now England is out!) and I'm looking forward to TV getting back to normal!
ReplyDeleteMy sister recently did an Alice in Wonderland street adventure here in the UK and loved it! Thanks for linking up with #DreamTeam
