The Christmas season

The signs of Christmas is everywhere - the streets and shops are decorated, the parties are in full swing and the 'traditions' in this house are beginning to happen.

I had some spare time in the city before a show to stroll around Pitt St and Martin Place (which was having little xmas markets) before a show. It was nice to see the hive of activity in the city again.
It is clearly the Festive Season where ever you look!

  1. I wish we had more Christmas decorations up in town, I think theres only lights across some streets and some trees lit up.

  4. Lovely photos, Lydia, reminding us that Christmas is nearly upon us. I still haven't done any shopping, nor have we put any decorations up. Hard to get into the Christmas spirit this year. However, I'm doing some voluntary work at a nursing home this week, so I think that may just press my Christmas buttons. Take care!

    1. Wow. That's impressive - what a lovely thing to do. And yes, I hear you. The date is drawing nearer and I'm not as organised as I should be!

  7. A beautiful post, Lydia. It looks as though celebrations for the Christmas season will take a front place in everyone's mind, especially so after the restrictions of the previous years. Let's hope for a better 2023! Thank you for hosting.
