Wombat

I adore wombats. Always have. You rarely see them at zoos because they're always sleeping in the burrow. This one was catching a few rays and it made me smile. Shame about the shadow but still love it!

  2. 😍🥰😍 I love wombats too, dear Lydia - you know that, right? In Cradle Mountain / Tasmania you can see them in action - highly recommended - and in the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary you can also cuddle one (which I stupidly didn't do...)
Speaking of 2015, I also have a post for you that I just linked in my current travel report chapter. There I mention that Edi and I like classic cars - and for a few years we were photographers at a vintage car rally.
All the best and a wonderful August, Traude

  3. As I asume that it is winter over there I have searched for a winter post in my archive. A nice animal ...I only know that the excrements of the wombats are square.
    Have a good time
