Start of the Festival Season

Sydney has opened the run of outdoor concerts and festivals with Anyma's Aeden in the Domain. A screen the size of a tennis court dwarfed the DJ and the lasers, fire, and smoke all worked with the images. It was spectacular.

Personally, I still prefer less effects and more energy in the crowd but I was glad I went.

Still hoping Ely Oaks gets announced soon (I see you over there in NZ on NYE!! We're just a hop over the ditch!)

Harbour Life and Hypersonic are on the same day!

Field Day has a corker of a line up!

Festival of Sydney announced it's dates, but for now I'll be away for a lot of it (That trip is up in the air so may have to be cancelled).

Taronga Zoo has dropped it's summer line up.

Sydney is gearing up for holiday season...(More talk on Festivals here)

My Insta clips are here and here and there are some great youtube clips here.

These pics below are from the supports, including Argy who I missed at Parookaville due to taxi problems...

  1. What a brilliant way to kick off the season — a screen the size of a tennis court in the Domain with lasers, fire and smoke sounds spectacular, even if I agree the best nights are more about the crowd's energy than the effects. Fingers crossed Ely Oaks is announced over the ditch soon, and hearing friends at onc brothers chatting about festival line-ups like Field Day has only made me keener for summer.

  3. Oh that´s sounds great. And as you are heading towards summer there will be some great moments outdoor. Seems to be difficult to decide which venue is to be visited.
Have a good time and all the best

  4. Everything here looks very exciting and spectacular – there’s always something going on in Sydney, and I’m a little envious of your festival season!
Over here in Austria, things are feeling very autumnal (with a touch of Halloween thrown in) – and since I timed my 2025 travelogue so that the photos from the pumpkin festival would appear right around now, it fits perfectly with your link-up!
Whatever you’re up to—whether you’re traveling or enjoying parts of the festival—live your life to the fullest!
All the best from Austria, 🤗

  5. There seems to be always something going on in Sydney, I like that, most things that happen here we have to pay alot of money for which is sad.

  7. I sure enjoy outdoor theaters. I've been to a few shows and it's beautiful sitting under the stars with the cooler evening breeze.
    Have a wonderful week.
    All the best.
