We'd gone for a weekend with friends in Bundanoon, and on the way home I detoured past the spectacular Fitzroy Falls. As the weather was changing, I only did the walk to the second look out (Jersey?), which is an easy walk and worth the view.
With magic moments like that, it's hard not to love life!
Feeling back to my old self - it's so good !!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the great view.
These pics are just great. My parents have shots from days out in the 1940s from Fitzroy Falls.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving that I only had a two-day working week last week. This week is different but... I feel as if I've ticked some stuff off my list.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics. I don't tend to think of myself as afraid of heights but sometimes - standing at a window in a skyscraper or on a mountain top I look down and life seems so fragile!
Wow, I've never seen an echidna in person! I'd love to get out on a few more walks. #Lovin'LifeLinky

Lovely waterfall. We've had a lot of rain recently and the falls near our house are the biggest they've been in 14 years.
ReplyDeleteI love Fitzroy Falls! I stop there whenever I head down that way. Last time was in May this year. Of course it makes me need to pee ...
ReplyDeleteIt really is a very special place, Lydia. Wild and beautiful, fills one with awe and a strong of mystery and maybe even foreboding...
