No, wait, Christmas is coming. That's pretend snow....
Every year, I hold a link up every Friday for Xmas themed posts. This year, I plan to do the same.
This Friday, and for the next 7 weeks, join in with me sharing (or trying to build) some Christmas Cheer.
No rules on what you link, as long as it's Christmas related. As for start time, you know me, I'm fairly flexible on times so first thing...
I leave you with this Christmas song, to get you in the spirit. If you haven't seen the fabulous Furnace and the Fundamentals, there are still tickets available to their Xmas party at the Oxford Arts Factory in Sydney on Wednesday the 18th (I'll be at the sold out 19th gig). You will never dance so much in your life! Tickets available here. As Molly would say 'Do yourself a favour!'
Remember Christmas posts only. I will delete non related posts. Gift suggestions, however, are welcome.

Thank you for sharing on #omhgff Oh my I was coming home the other night and someone already has their Christmas lights on. Thanks for the linkup. Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt's still NOVEMBER!! Don't you have to have thanksgiving before you put your lights on??? ;)
DeleteHaa, I caved in this weekend and am tip toeing into the Christmas season. It helped to chat with Santa in a bar. But if you want snow, I got yer snow right here!
ReplyDeleteSanta in a bar? There's a story right there! (And as half the country is on fire, snow would be fabulous if you send it this way)
Delete...I've always enjoy YMCA, but I have never heard this version. Lydia, thanks for expanding my musical knowledge!
ReplyDeleteWell, this was really cool. You signed up by me, and I hope you do it again next week, which is a freebie for us, and that means post any tunes you like. Next month is Christmas tunes month to have some fun and really feel like Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI've jumped the gun! ha!
DeleteLydia,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun video to bring lots of smiles to the face! Great idea for Fridays, too. I'm kinda socked in with what's on my plate but I might breath new life in some old posts by sharing those here if that's okay. Next month will be a different critter altogether as I play to say at least one Christmas song each day throughout the month, so I definitely join the party then if I don't forget. Wait...I'll add a linky now to one of my scheduled posts to remind myself. :) I amaze myself sometime with my brilliant mind. lol I just added my link to a post from 2010. Now, to add a reminder to my first Friday post to be sure to hop over to play along. Meanwhile, I'll try to remember to play along between now and then using Christmas posts from my archives. Thanks for joining me on the dance floor, darlin'!
I just tried to leave a comment on your post but I don't seem to be able to? Have you shut off the comments? What a lovely post. The detail in those memories is charming. (Charming descriptions).
DeleteJust read your comment above. I hope you're ok. Take it easy. Old posts like that are just lovely! See you later this week :)
DeleteLydia,
DeleteOn old posts yes commenting is turned off. I should turn them on for this linky party, though. Thanks for pointing that out to me. I'll do that now.
Fun song. Our stores are already full of Christmas cheer, and this was a super fun Christmas song. I used to belong to our local Y and exercised to the YMCA song lots of times. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
