Cockatoo



I had to pick up one of the kids from a suburb half and hour away and while very built up with apartment blocks, there were big trees lining the road and the biggest, whitest cockatoos I've ever seen, swarming about.

I had no time and alas no camera but I did manage these two shots which needed better lighting but make me smile.

Here's to small pleasures on a busy, obligation filled weekend.
