No seasons

Singapore doesn't have the marked four seasons that a lot of countries experience, it is perpetually hot and humid.

However, in an incredibly green city considering it's population density, there's a feeling of 'Spring' with the abundance of flowers (both inside and outside).

Just like Birnam Wood in Macbeth, sometimes the best course of action is to bring the 'forest' to the city.

  1. Catchy but very appropriate title to describe Singapore's climate and lush vegetation. We moved from two-season south Florida back to the conventional four in Connecticut. Since we have been here it is more like a "fickle four," with unseasonable and often unpredictable temperature and precipitation.

  2. I comment from the phone. On the computer was impossible. No idea why. I told you in my blog. Your flowers are fabulous, indeed.
    I wish you a fantastic weekend. ❤

    1. Thanks for persisiting. I hadn't seen it. I was techy the other morning so I was worried I'd been cranky with you - but I see you were just meaning my blog is being difficult with comments. I have the same with Elke at #DND. I understand. I tweet out her post instead.

  3. Singapore has many beautiful flowers and greenery because of the humidity.

  4. I always enjoy visiting Singapore, Lydia. Withe every visit, there is something new, the city is a bustling metropolis, but feels as welcoming as a small town. Lovely people and lots of green, and beautiful flowers, of course. Thanks for hosting.

  7. Beautiful pics - never been to Singapore - and I think I´ll never will be. Too hot, too humid - I like some change of seasons within the year. All the best

  8. Very nice photos, but I don't think I could stand the climate there for long. I prefer our four seasons. We have an exceptionally long late summer right now. I like that. Thank you for participating in Nature Thursday.
    Kind regards - Elke
Google doesn't like me today, can't comment on you. Let's see if it works with the smartphone or Tablet.

  9. So different from western NY state that has 4 distinct seasons. I don't know if I could tolerate hot and humid all the time, but then I would be able to experience all the plant life which I miss during the winters here...Michelle
