The only down side of travelling in January is I miss a lot of the Festival of Sydney. I did make it to the brilliant Model Murder and the very funny Opera of Siegfried & Roy. I was meant to see Dark Noon but I stupidly double booked myself so gave my ticket to a friend. Waiting to hear their review.
Prior to the show on Sunday, I strolled around The Thirsty Mile to take in some of the art. I loved the ship, my friend did not. And I guess the discussion that followed is one of the best things about art. We rarely think or fully explain our arguments these days.
This is a brief glimpse of the 2025 Sydney Festival Season for me.
Oh what a fun party! I must link up. Thank you and aloha from Honolulu

Always fun to attend Festivals, Lydia, provided the weather cooperates! Snow one week, Summer heat the next. You certainly criss-cross the globe! Thanks for hosting.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, so much colour and celebration! Thank you so much for sharing and for taking part in #MySundaySnapshot.
