I managed to check out Customs House VIVID projections on the way to meet friends at the Opera House for a show.
Tonight I'm at the ICC so I'll walk via The Goods Line for some of that Aburi I couldn't eat last week
And then just like that, it's lights out for another year.

Stunning photos
ReplyDeleteAmazing light displays, they all look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend.
Lots of bright colours there, I love the crochet patterns.
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be the light show every year that many who live in Australia won't miss. I especially like the crochet. And the Sydney Opera House looked stunning. Thanks for taking us with you and sharing your drink with us at VIVID for T this Tuesday, dear Lydia.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this light show, but WOW! Even the roof of the Opera House looks amazing. Thanks for sharing and Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and bitter-sweet. 1995 I wanted to attend "Phantom of the Opera" in the Opera House. Ingo said, when we come back (6 months later). Show was off, I´ve never visited...
ReplyDeleteWow, that light show looks amazing! It's a miriad of pretty colours. Thanks for sharing 😊. Happy T Day wishes ❤️. Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful light shows and so colourful! I didn't know where it was until I suddenly recognised the roof of the Sidney Opera House and I know that you are in Oz.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to have such temporary beauty, knowing it won't be around forever. That probably makes everyone appreciate it even more and examine it more carefully. Love the patchwork quilt or crochet squares look to one of the buildings. Just beautiful. Glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteOh, how I wish I could have been there too – all those dazzling lights, all that imagination! 🌈💡 The third photo especially took my breath away – that house lit up like a giant crocheted granny square blanket is simply fascinating! I’m sure I would have absolutely loved VIVID – it looks like pure magic. 🌟

Looks great these light projections. Here in Innsbruck we have such projections in the old-town around Christmas and New Year. It would be great to see it in real.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time
