I managed to check out Customs House VIVID projections on the way to meet friends at the Opera House for a show.
And then just like that, it's lights out for another year.
I know this year has been quieter, but I've really enjoyed getting out and about when the city is abuzz and everyone is smiling.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful and bitter-sweet. 1995 I wanted to attend "Phantom of the Opera" in the Opera House. Ingo said, when we come back (6 months later). Show was off, I´ve never visited...

ReplyDeleteWhat fun to have such temporary beauty, knowing it won't be around forever. That probably makes everyone appreciate it even more and examine it more carefully. Love the patchwork quilt or crochet squares look to one of the buildings. Just beautiful. Glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteOh, how I wish I could have been there too – all those dazzling lights, all that imagination! 🌈💡 The third photo especially took my breath away – that house lit up like a giant crocheted granny square blanket is simply fascinating! I’m sure I would have absolutely loved VIVID – it looks like pure magic. 🌟

Looks great these light projections. Here in Innsbruck we have such projections in the old-town around Christmas and New Year. It would be great to see it in real.
