Golden Sunday


My morning walk on Sunday really put a spring in my step for the day. The sun was showering gold on the ground and every where I looked was a delightful glow.










When I left home the moon was still shining and the chill was biting but it didn't take long to warm up, both literally and figuratively.

And that tainted the rest of the day. After a rough few preceding days, I was suddenly my old self again, feeling delight at the smallest of pleasures.

    The sun has a way of parting dark moods returning oneself to a happy place. So, glad Sunday walk did this for you and you're so right about your song bringing a bit of sunny cheer to the soul.     I was feeling down this afternoon, and came to your blog, only to see those beautiful morning pictures, especially the third one down with the sunbeams. The musical selection made it complete - my unhappiness is dissolving.

      This is the loveliest comment I've received in a long time. I was down on Friday (due to anesthetic, it messes with my mood badly) and then terrible news about a sick friend on Saturday...but Sunday, boom! I was all good again seeing joy and beauty everywhere.
