I do one for each group - the Priceline Mum's and Bub's bag gives you the bag too, as well as lot's of extras. (Though you need to take the condoms out as per Share the Dignity's Guidelines).

Kmart currently has these bags for $5 if anyone wants to do the teen bag, and it fits plenty of items in.
The lists of items are here. If you give all three bags, make sure you tag them (or colour code the ribbon accordingly)
Bunnings will be accepting bags from the 15th November until the 1st Dec.

It's so important to help others. My sister had 2 littles with Trisomy 18, and when her baby was born in Aug. I made her family a few meals, brought them over groceries as well.
ReplyDeleteLovely to spread some much needed supplies out to the community.
ReplyDeleteThis is so nice of you Lydia! Plus looove the products you chose!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. I had dinner with friends last night and one of them works at the local neighbourhood centre and one of their initiatives is Suitcases of Hope. It's basically giving a suitcase / backpack with some clothes, books etc for kids going into foster care... conscious they might not leave their family home with much. It has to be new stuff so there's a sense of 'newness' but they're happy with bags from KMart and inexpensive stuff. Such a lovely idea.
ReplyDeleteJust googled. Nice one...
DeleteThis is such a fabulous initiative. I've participated in previous years but not so organised this year. Great selection of products!!
ReplyDelete...what a wonderful project.
ReplyDeleteI did mine when I was sorting out what handbags (they are quite bit) I wouldn't use again. I always end up putting things in I feel would add to the basic list. Notepad, pen, water bottle, a turban towel (after hair wash). I was on a budget this time round so not too many extras. I think this is my 5th year of Sharing the Dignity.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!! How did I forget this this year? I didn't do it. First time in a few years. Bugger, bugger, bugger. Is it too late?
ReplyDeleteBunnings is taking the donations from the 20th-29th Dec, I think, so plenty of time yet.
DeleteThat would be NOVEMBER. I'm an idiot in the mornings.
