Festival Season

It's not quite summer but all the festivals are dropping their line ups so it's pretty easy to get excited. This weekend kicks off with Sam Feldt (not a festival but one of my fav DJs). Stoked about Meduza at Field Day! I'm hoping we finally get Alan Walker and Bakermat but I somehow doubt it...

Anyway, dancing shoes and attitude primed and ready to party!

Australia's Festival Season is nothing like the European one, but for now, it's all I got! Do you have summer plans?

Note - this pic was taken a Pub Choir the other night...as the festivals are yet to happen.

For those that don't know Pub Choir, it's like this and travels around the world (to UK and US at least) as well as all over Australia and NZ. Great fun.

  1. The pub choir were amazing, especially since most people I know remember the words and music of I Want to Break Free. I loved the women singing the first line and the men repeating it.
    Wish I was there

  2. Dear Lydia, I'm happy for you that the warm season and festival season are starting for you. Here it's the other way around (although there are also autumn festivals, but we don't have any plans and prefer to meet up with friends without a festival)... But in my post I have a piece of spring for you (which was a few months ago for me but is still "very close to me").
The video from The pub choir is really touching - so many people singing together with so much joy and passion!
All the best from Austria, Traude

  9. Your festive season looks like fun! I love the 2nd video...if it was in my neck of the woods, they'd be singing to quietly and off key! Lol.

  11. Both good picks. I liked the beat of the first song and who can dislike Queen songs - these singers had good voices, too. Summer? For me, that's too far away. Way too far away.
