As facebook does, it reminded me with a flood of photos of what we were missing from years gone past. One of my rituals in the Hunter is to get up early and take photos of the kangaroos at sunrise.
Sharing these pictures, because like the roos, I seem to be a creature of habit and the fact that these photos appeared over a span of two years on the same day, it appears I follow a very strict routine.
I really loved this ripped male, though was completely intimidated and zoomed in with the lens, rather than approached.

ReplyDeleteHe actually was! Me! He was really aggressive, even though I was quite a distance away. I was actually a bit scared because he'd get me in a few bounds. He was massive - bigger than me in height.

ReplyDeleteIt really is sad to look at old photos of the same time of the year as now. So many happy moments now replaced with so much misery in lockdowns all all over the place and thousands upon hundreds of thousands of people worldwide getting infected, many dying of this horrible virus. We can only hope that the virus's time is running out. Here's to a healthy July 2022 with many exciting trips to be taken then. Lydia!
