Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine. — Lord Byron
I've booked about 10 shows over the three week period, and have loved getting out and about over the city to see them.
If you haven't booked anything, why not give someone new a go? Or turn up at the Factory or Enmore and see what's available? Check out what's on here.
Linking with #WordlessWednesday #KeithsRamblings #MySundaySnapshot #WWOAT #WWOT #TheRandom Just for the pics.
Link for Oliver Coleman who has shows at the Edinburgh Festival at the end of July, early August here. His show was the favourite of the 9 I've seen so far. Last one for me tonight!
Dear Lydia,
ReplyDeletethank you for your invitation to link the Sydney post here, I'll be happy to do that as soon as the linkup is open. Thanks also for your answers to my previous comment. I'm really happy that dinner on the Harbor Bridge was so great! Then it was really worth it! (By the way, I only realized through your link that this other blog of yours is also "active"...)
Oh, and I wanted to write to you about your post with the mural from Melbourne: I just realized that some of the excellent murals I photographed in Melbourne are by the same artist: Matt Adnate: http://allthoseshapes. com/adnate_graffiti_street-art/
All the best and a good start into May - - with lots of opportunities to laugh! :-DD

Did you get an invitation? That must happen auotmatically with inlinkz. I'm not that organised to send one. I love Adnate, he's my favourite!
DeleteLaughing is so much fun, you can be serious all you like but if you don't have a laugh once in a while it can get too serious
ReplyDeleteEileen, your comment is back of house, but not here...sorry. Just wanted to let you know I do appreciate it, and I'll get some animal & bird pics soon!
ReplyDeleteLydia, Thanks so much for hosting the All Seasons party! Sydney Comedy Festival sounds like a lot of fun. hope you have a great time tonight celebrating Mother's Day! - Patty
ReplyDeleteAlways a laugh - yes I think it is a good thing for your mental health and all over wellness. Comedy week in Sydney. Sounds great. ....But to far away to visit.

...humor is an important part of good health, keep laughing.
ReplyDeleteI always like a good laugh, especially if the jokes are witty and have the right degree of "blackness". What I cannot abide is stand-up comedians who pick on members of the audience and begin personal, insulting tirades against them in the name of humour. I saw such an attack in the last Melbourne Comedy festival and I had to get up and leave (and I wasn't the only one!). Thanks for hosting, Lydia.
ReplyDeleteoh! That's awful. It's quite rare these days, or at least with who I see...thankfully
DeleteVery cool. Comedy and laugher are always good for the soul. Thanks for hosting this great party.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to a comedy festival you can't beat some good comedy :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a comicaltastic week 👍
Hope you had some great laughs!
ReplyDeleteI love a good laugh, and I bet you're getting loads at the festival!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an awesome day - there's nothing better than a bit of comedy to raise a smile.
