Share my Snaps!

While I'm meant to be back, there will be no First of the Month Fiction this month due to another story I need to write and a total lack of direction and interest in getting back into routine. However I couldn't resist #Lifethisweek's theme of Share my Snaps!.

Having just got back from magnificent Finland, I thought I'd share couple of teaser pics! Let me tell you, in Finland it's very hard not to love life!

Finland is glorious outdoor adventures with endless sunrises and sunsets - as we went further north, it literally morphed from sunrise to sunset around midday, with no 'daytime' in between the two.

Linking with #WednesdayAroundtheWorld (this is an old post but the world seems so very far away at the moment, and we were talking about this trip last night)

Linking this one with #WeekendReflection - the lights in the restaurant are reflected on the glass

  18. Since I am in a warm climate I can appreciate those cold snowy shots from afar- They look so pretty but give me the warm weather

  19. Lovely pics. I grew up in Sweden and have been to Findland a couple of times, and although I can appreciate how beautiful it looks, I'm not keen on the cold, wintery weather. But as a holiday destination, sure! It's the prolonged periods of hovering around in freezing darkness, not knowing when spring will arrive, that I can't cope with... #PointShoot

  29. Hi ...I am a little confused about the comment you left for Nature Notes meme on my blog, but welcome to Nature Notes and I enjoyed this post.. You said, "That flamingo’s been eating all the prawns! Lovely!" .......Michelle

    1. There was a photo of a flamingo in the montage - and it's colour was dark, which means it's been eating a lot of prawns, apparently. Was the montage an ad? I thought t was part of your pictures. What a dummy if it was an ad - sorry!

    2. Oh gosh..I am so sorry Lydia...The montage is a photo of each blogger's Nature Notes post and one of your photos is up now in this week's montage...Funny as my daughter just asked me why Flamingos are pink..LOL... Sorry about that....Hope you will link in again...Michelle

  33. I really like the look of those snow covered roofed cabins in their winter setting. Would not like the very short daylight, but I realize that is what happens way north at this time of the year. #TheWeeklyPostcard

  34. I never liked cold, but I have to say that I miss snow once in a while. Your photos look great!

  35. Lovely pictures. Finland looks like a beautiful place but it must be strange to have practically no daylight.

    1. The badges don't work - there's some coding error/incompatibility. I can take a photo but it won't link back (thus the link back in text).
