While we had lunch the other day, I was mesmerised by a group of boys jumping off the shark net pool. They looked like one of those 1920 paintings on a Robert Drewe novel. I was desperate to take a photo but as they were shirtless and young, I felt it was a bad look - creepy old perv vibes. However when the teen fishermen came out later in the day, clothed, I did.
This Sydney is timeless. It's looked like this for 100 years (maybe not the cityscape in the distance).

ReplyDeleteI love these photos, I'm glad you were able to grab a picture
ReplyDeleteWonderful collection of greys and blacks, and great reflections too.
ReplyDeletet's strange how afraid we are now to photograph, to be seen as something other than we are, to fear opprobrium... Here in Europe we're not quite there yet, but we're getting there. Whatever, the picture is excellent
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice capture has an atmosphere about it

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. ♥
Such a nostalgic shot... Those were innocent, happier times in the Lucky Country. How fortunate I feel that I lived in those times as a young man. Thank you for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
