"Just remember that the things you put into your head are there forever,"

That's a quote from the very brilliant The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I have had it emphasised to me today. We got our laptop fixed by remote IT techs, and somehow since then, a porn page kept opening up after they'd fixed the other issue (ironically a worse issue came in it's place). Now I'm not a total prude but there is one image on the 'welcome' page of this site that has stuck in my head in a disturbing fashion.

One woman has had massive implants, and I mean not human implants. These fake breasts are larger than any other females' on the planet. They are easily larger than her head - individually! There is something almost beastial or alien about it. I can't really get that any guy would find it sexy. It just looks really uncomfortable to me. And disturbing.

Then the practical side starts buzzing in my head. Where would she find clothes? Would she ever be treated like a normal person? The word 'freak show' springs to mind, I'm afraid. We are not talking large, we are talking crazy implants. Think Anna Nicole Smith is an A cup in comparison, this woman is a JJJ. (Pamela Anderson is too small to make the chart, in this example). They are literally as big as her torso.

I am not taking issue with implants, nor porn. Both are pretty common these days but the size of these implants means the woman stops being a person and just seems to be a pair of enormous breasts. I mentioned it to a friend who had seen a similar site (or the same site, care of a virus) and she asked me if the woman had brown hair. I honestly had no idea. All I could see was those huge distorted and uncomfortable looking breasts.

Fortunately the techies then fixed this problem, so I won't share the photo with you (actually I wouldn't have anyway). But I keep wondering what my son would have made of it, and the conversation we would have had to have about it. I really don't think I could explain why a woman would do that to herself.

Don't the doctors have some sort of responsibility? When someone says 'We can get it specially made but you'll need to wear bespoke clothing and undergarments, and your back was never made to carry this sort of weight", do you not rethink your pending choice? And surely if you've already gone up a few sizes, whatever the size before this is must have hurt your back and caused problems. What is the driving force to go bigger again? It just seems so sad and tragic, and I really can't comprehend the process, and the fact that obviously someone must see it as desirable, makes me uncomfortable about my fellow mankind.

So Mr McCarthy's warning still resonates with me today, years after reading The Road. I think I would happily take his disturbing apocalypse images over this tragic disfigurement.

  1. I don't understand it either Lydia. Why this women thinks that this makes her more sexy, is a huge question mark to me. I can't think of anything more uncomfortable, or embarrassing for that matter! I know that a greater part of society leads us to believe that bigger breasts are better, but she's obviously gone above and beyond.

  2. Hmm, I think you could make the same argument for a lot of "modifications", like when someone covers themselves in tattoos. I guess they want the world to see them that way. What is disfigurement to some, is art to others??

    1. I guess that's it. Implants and tattoos are pretty much normal these days, so the fringe pushes the boundaries...I still think I can process the tattoo on the face better than this woman's extreme breasts. Tho I guy once walked down our street with a swastika tattoo'd on his forehead. It was the Saturday before Halloween so we were hoping it was for a party (and texta'd on in bad taste), but it was very disturbing too...(that's still in my head as weel!)

  3. Yep, totally don't get it. I personally think when people go to such massive extremes in altering their appearance that what they are really trying t change is something inside them that will never be happy, no matter what they do to their body and need massive amounts of counselling rather than massive amounts of silicone. Some people ma not agree with me but that's just my two centers worth anyway.

    1. Somehow this size is probably beyond counselling - that time would hav been about 10 implants ago (they literally cover her belly button - but not in that tribal way, sticking out in a hard uncomfortable way...)

  4. I too have no idea why anyone would do that. As you say, it's hard to unsee something once it's been seen.
Having said that I would love to have a reduction - down to a B cup - if I ever win Lotto - that is near the top of the list !!
    Have the best day !

  5. Once I saw a page from a porn magazine on the side of the road. I was about 10yo. I never imaged that would go in someones mouth. It completely traumatised me. I have never forgotten it. Rachel x

  6. I guess the Dr gets paid enough they just don't care. The 'model' probably explains it away that it is for her job and will (hopefully) get a reduction down the track.

  7. Yep - why would you? Not only would it Kill your back/shoulders etc but how would you be able to paint your toenails!

    1. As someone how is not 100% happy with my appearance, I find the importance (and joy) of painting toenails high on the priority list...;)

    2. Guess most people aren't watching her toenails.

  8. It seems like there are just doctors out there who have no ethics. Then again, some patients are persistent and they'll just keep looking for a doctor to give them hat they want. It's a shame they don't think about the long term effects...

  9. I don't get it either - but who knows how she really sees her body and what is psychologically going on there. Love Cormac's quote - very, very relevant in today's world...

  10. As the unhappy owner of natural DD sometimes E size breast I absolutely do not know why this woman would do that. the only reasonable conclusion I can come to is that it must be a punishment for a crime, there is not other reasonable explanation.

BTW, thanks for the laugh - the post was not what I expected at all after the title!!

  11. If you are an E, imagine someone, and I'm not exagerating, 20 sizes AT LEAST, up from you...

  12. JUst visiting from FYB, I agree the doctors should be held responsible and not do these surgeries. As a man I am in favor of natural.

One question, where do you get your computer viruses? WHen I get one, they screw up my computer. I never get porn.

  13. You need to pay $160 for remote techies to spend 32 hours downloading millions of drivers so you can run a $79 game if you want this kind of virus...but as they say, beware of what you want, for you will surely get it!

  15. Docs should be held accountable but you can buy anything at the right price can't you... like that stupid b*tch who bought her 7 year old a voucher for breast implants!

    1. At least it was a voucher... I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it's done at 7...

  16. I can't understand it either. My partner said he doesn't find the overly large ones attractive because to him they just look like giant balls on their chest, not breasts.

  17. Can you just imagine how heavy they would be and the kind of bra you would need.....I am so glad after the work day to take my bra off but with breasts like that it would be even worse.

  18. I think these women don't do this to be desirable - they actually want the freak show. It brings them attention and makes them bucketloads of cash. I have never been sure whether we should feel sorry for these people, or praise their enterprising efforts.

  19. That is a really interesting thought - that we can't remove things from our head. I also tend to start asking practical questions when faced with something completely out of the ordinary for me.

  20. It's not something I have ever quite gotten my head around - I had a friend who needed to get specialty bras and it was always an expensive hassle.
