While not an official seasonal celebration, it is an annual escape for us, just to relax bufore the rush of Christmas.
We head to Currawong for a laid back weekend of paddle boarding, golf, tennis and kicking back on the beach.
This was the first time in the small cottage as opposed to as a group in the big house.
Fingers crossed as the dates open I can nab it for us again.
Do you have personal annual traditions or places you have to book a year out?
those skys are magic. What a beautiful place for a getaway. Enjoy your week. I am joining you at the Random-osity linkup.

ReplyDeleteHot shots.
ReplyDeleteYes! We have a cabin up in Northwest Wisconsin. Delightful to go up there and enjoy small towns without traffic jams and street lights, getting to make new friends who are now old friends, every weekend seems like there is a festival to go to. Most of all I love the lake and the forest. I wake up to take photographs of the sunrise and later take the sunset. My body and mind is clear and awake up North.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love your PINK skies. Yes, go back, and back and book again. Where your heart sings is where you belong.
Wow, that looks wonderful. Good idea to take a breather before Christmas craziness kicks in!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely spot. I'm not sure how "laid back" a weekend I could have though, with monitor lizards about! Beautiful, but they get so large!
ReplyDeleteIt's a very pretty spot to enjoy a weekend. I don't have a place to which I retreat each year. I've often wondered what that would be like.
