Walking to dinner, I was very taken with the texture on this tree, and once I made ti B&W, I started to notice contrast everywhere. Isn't it funny how once you think about something, you see it everywhere?
Though this one didn't work as well as it should have.

ReplyDelete...bark can be one of a tree's greatest features!
ReplyDeletemoi aussi j'ai toujours été fasciné par la texture des écorces...
ReplyDeletethe Black and white of the top photo make the bark stand out more.
ReplyDeleteThat tree bark is really neat in black and white!
ReplyDeleteLove the bark. I took a photo last summer of my footprints in the sand, and it turned out so crazy! It was like the footprints were raised instead of sunk in. I had to google it and found it that it's an optical illusion called a "crater illusion" or "shadow-bias." Who knew? haha
ReplyDeleteMuseums often have this (the powerhouse did) but I've never created it naturally. How fabulous!
DeleteI adore the tree texture - it's fascinating! Thanks for sharing and for taking part in #WeeklyWonders.
