Explosion of colour

I was taking a short cut through some back alleys behind a friend's house when I stumbled across this explosion of colour. In the space of 10 metres there were all these murals converging...

“Why do two colors, put one next to the other, sing? Can one really explain this? No. "Pablo Picasso

I'm not sure if artists live here or if one mural spurred the neighbours to get one as well...but what a delight.

“Mere color, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways. ”
Oscar Wilde

Linking with #MySundayBest #WordlessWednesday #MuralMondays and #AwwMondays because the pencil fence made me go Aww - so joyous and charming in it's nostalgia-inducing reminder of my children when they were little!

    1. it could just be an old man in pajamas eating breakfast but I think it's a holocaust mural. Will see if I can find anything to confirm.

    That's a great collection, Lydia.

The color pencils are so attractive! The yellow wall looks so pretty. And the pajama one is so beautifully done.
