When?

 Draining the colour sometimes makes the photos age....

This looks post war...



This I was hoping for a few centuries ago but I think it too looks like something in the 1940s. I guess the electric lights and handrail drag it to last century.















And this, well this just made me smile.

  7. Draining the color really does work like a time machine, and it is fascinating how it can accidentally pull a scene right into the 1940s post-war era. You are totally spot on about the modern handrails and electric lighting breaking the illusion of those older centuries, but it still has such a moody, classic film vibe to it.
