The title is spoken by the Blue Fairy to Pinocchio.
While we were in Kingscliff, we went to the Tweed Regional Gallery. There is a very life like bronze statue outside, and I decided to make him real...
I brought him to life in the early 1970s...
but in B&W you really couldn't tell he wasn't alive.
And this is literally how my brain works. You're welcome.
Do you think he looks real?
I guess the lesson is we can change what we see if we change the way we look at it....

Beautiful landscapes! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteHi Lydia - he DOES look real - very clever! I've been to that gallery and loved it - particularly the Margaret Olley Art Centre. I think I blogged about my visit there as I was so impressed. Nice cafe there too! Hope you're having a great week! Thanks for linking up with #WWWhimsy ! xo
ReplyDeleteYes Lydia he does look alive!! I got a shock when I saw your photo of Mt warning as my mother and aunt are there at the moment and sent me basically the same photo earlier this week! Lovely shots and a great gallery isn't it?

ReplyDeleteThese days I tend to wonder about a lot of the things that I see on the internet - I never really trust anything anymore. This does look very realistic though! Thank you for sharing and for taking part in #MySundaySnapshot.
ReplyDeleteThe BW does look real. Amazing how color or lack of can make an image 'look' different.
