The coastal erosion was the most noticeable damage and some trees down.
Otherwise it was just excessive leaves on the ground and some roads flooded (& detours) were the only signs it had ever been rampaging through.
So Queensland was very lucky!
Hopefully this is not the start of Cyclone Season!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the cyclone didn't cause more damage! I thought of you when I read that "Alfred" was rolling toward the mainland. I would have been doubly sad if this cyclone had been particularly destructive – because Alfred was my father's name and is also the name of my brother ...
