One thing that happened in lockdown, I became mesmerised watching the moon. I'd spend a lot of time looking at it, photographing it, noting it's changing shape or the craters.
It appears that hasn't changed. I keep noticing it, if it's visible in the day time and was delighted when there was a dark cloud dusting it. My camera couldn't catch the wispiness of the cloud, but I still like the pics. As the moon changes shape on a cycle, I'm counting it as 'seasonal'.
Do you still have habits or behaviours that started in lockdown?

Beautiful captures of the moon! Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThe moon is definitely both beautiful and mysterious--a beacon in the night sky that draws us in. I, too, always look for it when I am out at night. One lockdown habit I still keep is wearing a mask in very crowded indoor places and while flying. I don;t care about the strange looks I may get as long as I don;t get ill from all the possible viruses that are being passed around. Norovirus was "popular" this winter and spring in our area.
ReplyDeleteI have become more germ aware - I do keep a mask in my bag for flights incase there is someone hacking away around me. Not just for covid, as you point out. Filthy germy people ;)
DeleteWow; your photos of the moon are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteGood shots. I need to get a close up lens for my camera.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful moon-shots. I love to look at a full-moon. Only my mobile does not make a sharp photo. I am so glad, that this period is over so I don´t have habbits that started then.
ReplyDeleteAll the best and have a good time

Watching the moon wax and wane is fascinating and connects us to humans who have been doing the same thing for millenia!
ReplyDeleteLovely moon photos, Lydia. I wrote a lot during the lockdown, which later turned out to be my novel. I'm continuing to write now and another novel is being edited to be published shortly. Thanks for hosting, and have a good week!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's fantastic! Congratualtions. Is this Nick?
DeleteSuch beautiful moon pictures. Love it. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteWowza!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots!
ReplyDeleteCool.
ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated by the moon as well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful interplay between moon and clouds!
ReplyDeleteThe full moon is beautiful, if I were a wolf, maybe I would start howling?
ReplyDeleteOh! I wish we had more rain here in Melbourne, Lydia. We are getting very cold nights (yes, the flanelette sheets are in) and cold mornings, but we have warm sunny days, which the garden seems to like as long as we keep watering it... Thanks for hosting (Nick from NixPixMix)
