I had an amazing leek and winter greens pie. The truffle hot sauce was amazingly delicious and you can buy a bottle to take home!
It is a must for the truffle lover, and a cheaper way to eat at Nomad as you aren't adding wine to your bill!
The Truffle Brunch has been extended until the 3rd of August. Details here.
Note the top picture is unrelated, I was just struck by the prettiness of the building and lights as I walked home from the Belvoir.

My mouth is watering
ReplyDeleteCheesecake and a cinnamon bun, both look yummy.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day!
That sounds delicious; that cinnamon bun looks incredible.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine anything tastier!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to a truffle brunch before – it sounds very intriguing! 🍽️ I think I've only ever had truffles on spaghetti. I didn’t even know truffles grow in Australia – or are they imported?
ReplyDeleteWarmest greetings from Austria!

They grow here. Southern Highlands and around Canberra (probably other places but that's the ones I know)
DeleteThe bun would be my favourite too! Looks so good!

Yum.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful night shot, Lydia. Truffles always remind me of a past trip to France and a delicious (simple!) omelette with shaved truffles accompanied by a winter greens salad. It's often the simplest dishes that taste the best, but they must be cooked by a master chef! Thanks for hosting. - Nick, MAP
ReplyDeleteThat looks good - but I must confess . I don´t like truffles....But I think you have enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteAll the best

...the Mural by Nick Hernandez is FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteThose desserts would be something I would chose for myself too. I've had truffles thinly shaved into risotto and it was delicious. Nice bright mural. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Lydia.
ReplyDeleteThose food photos look delicious! I must admit that I have never tasted truffles but I must do that one day soon! Thanks for sharing with us at #WWWhimsy ... and hope you're having a wonderful week! xo
