It's all how you look at it.

I was in a mood, and I said to my friend "I'm having a glass half empty kind of day, so you're just going to have to listen to me complain about it". I've completely forgotten what 'it' was, which was annoying me.

So when I took these pics, I had in mind that if I changed them into B&W, they would look quite different from the originals.

This one looks sad and forgotten, decaying slowly with time.

This seemed a little unsafe, as if a sketchy part of town.

Even the sunrise seemed threatening, the dawn of a doom.

A lot of the time it really is just all how you look at it.

I used to play this song to the kids all the time when they were little.

  5. Yes, how you look at things is really up to you. I agree that B&W photography makes you look at things, even common things, in a different way. I liked the song, too.

  6. I love black & white photography! Great pics — so moody which is what I love about B&W. Cute song too. Never heard it but the message is definitely a good one.

  8. This is a nice song and a good message. Love the noirish look of your pics. I feel I might see Humphrey Bogart there. Love that elephant
