Long weekend housekeeping

This shot makes me think I'm on holiday somewhere else
I think I might take this week a little slower on the blog. We have a long weekend here and I've a story to write in the next week (and so far no ideas for it).

So have a wonderful week and if you are after ideas for things to do, here's a few:

A Virtual treasure hunt. It's free but a donation is requested to help pay their staff during lockdown.  You use google maps and websites - and get a feel for places even if you've never been there...This is UK based but travels across the pond.

Tom Hiddleston is in Coriolanus for those in need of a theatre fix - also free.

In Sydney, get out and about if you aren't having a weekend away. Share the spending to places that will have been hurting. Lunch at the Shed or Cottage Point Kiosk could make a nice day trip. Or check out the ferries to Patonga or Ettalong. Or drive to Bilpin or on the Grand Pacific Drive.

I'll be on Insta until I return. Have a good weekend - remember double demerits apply so does Social Distancing. Stay safe and let's get this thing down to zero!!!

Shank You Very Much

    1. The other night it was shining directly about the skylight in the bathroom and I did think I'd left the light on!!!

  7. Gorgeous shots and welcome suggestions. I took one day off last week and found myself at a loss for entertainment. Was too exhausted to do anything but sit in front of the tube, water the plants and stuff my face. Ended up watching "Clueless" if that tells you how desperate I was. Love Tom Hiddleson.

  15. I love the first photo with the very colourful sky. We've been cloudy for the week so haven't seen much night sky. - Margy

  18. It pleased me greatly to see you were 'outta da house' and into the city. It missed you I bet!

Thank you for linking up this week. I have changed my blog’s home page; right hand-side, to note the regular bloggers and blog names who link up for Life This Week. I am very grateful that you are one of those. See you next week when the optional prompt is Kindness. Take care, Denyse.

  19. Thank you, Lydia, for peeking in on my Tom's Weekend blog post. I didn't last week but this week I decided the only way to return is here. I see some of your commenters are familiar to me.
GOOD LUCK (I don't believe in luck wishes coming true) and BEST WISHES FOR YOUR STORY.
Your moon shot is very nice. I wish I could take good ones. I use a pocket Sony or this Galaxy 8 and Red Eye correction tries to make things better but instead it ruins every detail.
    Have a nice week!!!

  20. p.s. Forgot to mention that we liked sooo very much our 2014 visit to Sidney. We spent the most of five days and four nights, staying at the Hilton after our NZ and Aus cruise. Especially nice was the treatment we received as seniors. We used the Senior Special Day passes for transportation, it included ferries and the train over the bridge, and buses. We were sorry to be ear that it did not include the light rail between the west and east. Just a "one-tourist's" run-down.

    1. Nice to hear - I always think Sydney must be hard for tourists. It's not that easy to get around in comparrison to other cities...

  21. Fabulous moon shots. You've reminded me I need to get a proper camera. If I snap the moon on my phone it looks like a tiny dot!
