For the second time this month, we went to a wedding that was held in a venue that felt like we were on a farm, when in actual fact we were still in the city. Quite extraordinary what the 'escape' felt like, even though it was only in my head.
Literally you exited the driveway, turned up a quiet round and then suddenly you were back on the freeway.
Oh how fun to be in the city, but not feel like you're in the city. I'll take the countryside anytime.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
there is a physical and mental reaction to being in green spaces no matter if in the city or out in the country. That's the basis of the Japenese concept of forest bathing. Immerse yourself in green areas of trees and fields for your health. A beautiful space for a wedding.
ReplyDeleteLidia, both these are such pretty pictures. The surroundings surely helped the atmosphere's aura of the wedding. My middle son and his wife were married outside at an older plantation house, all seemed to be smiles and friendliness.
ReplyDelete..
What a beautiful tree reflection!
ReplyDeleteIn my post the stencil says "Je suis, venu j'ai bu, j'me souviens plus".
Translated I came, I drank, I don't remember(anymore)".
Beautiful reflection!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and Bingo! We both had the same idea about a post this week. The big open natural spaces right in the middle of a big city!
ReplyDeletePS: Thank for hosting, Lydia!
