Rainbow Lorikeets

We had some gorgeous visitors while at a beach house a few weeks back. They found the grapes so I'm guessing have become used to humans. We took the bowl away but watched them finish their bounty.

As I've not mastered my photography of birds (they're small and move so fast), it was nice to get some relatively static subjects.

  1. ...it's amazing the see such colorful birds, I would only see them in a pet shop or zoo. Thanks for brightening my day.

  2. Oh, they are pretty, as beautiful as birds of paradise, but do they belong to the parrots?

Don't forget to tag your post with "AllSeasons" so that it comes up when linked as such! (Gawd, that sounded so didactic and dictatorial, but I meant in a nice and sweet way!)
