I'm happy to be getting my harbour walks back after all this rain...
Trying to focus on the little things as the election coverage is just depressing. I don't understand how we are determined to not focus on any of the issues, and they're are so many serious ones with huge future impacts and all we talk about is uncooked curry and other equally irrelevant personality 'stuff'.

... planting without purpose, now that's interesting. Just getting your hands dirty is purpose enough!
ReplyDeleteI am concentrating on little things, too. It makes good among all the news coverage. I just walked with my kitty Selma in the garden and loved to see how plants are waking up after the winter. Pure happiness.
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of planting without purpose. My grandfather had an amazing small garden - little fruit trees with flowers, herbs and vegetables growing under and around them. Rather messily. It looked like planting without purpose, but in reality was carefully planned.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Glad to hear you get your harbour walks back. Thank you for linking up with #weekendcoffeeshare.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing some of your favorite things to distract us from the ridiculous, trivial things filling the news.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of the various plants.

Harbour walks and this special bridge ... that must be Sydney! Hope you don't have too many snails, because they love your yellow flowers. Still enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteI just try and ignore politics.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your photographs, I love that you get out in the morning to see such sights.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunrise photos. Nice sky color, and I like the city skyline in the background!
ReplyDeleteWalking encourages us to see the little things. Glad you are doing it again. Your sunrise photos pop.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely sunrise photos.
ReplyDelete...fabulous quote and accompanying images, enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers, Lydia! We have strange things happening in our garden too. The Spring bulbs are shooting up out of the ground, roses bloom next to chrysanthemums and a crazy (midsummer) tuberose is getting ready to bloom!
ReplyDeletePS: Thank you for hosting, Lydia!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and I'm glad your back to your harbor walks. I would enjoy that.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
