I took the dog for a walk after dark the day I saw 28 years later. We went a different route but suddenly everything seemed abandoned and haunted.
Is it the unfamiliarity that makes us see danger that isn't there? Or was I just overly wary of zombies that day?
It's all how you look at it, as they say.
We used to play this song to the kids when they were little and it still rings in my mind from time to time.
Applies to the Krampus too, as I discovered recently.

Unfamiliarity, yes, but also creepy looking places! Black and white makes them all the more so. I like them!
ReplyDeleteThat first one looks really spooky!
ReplyDeleteShooting black and white always makes things appear a little eerie and other times it just adds a dramatic touch, so I guess it's all how you look it. :) Thanks for sharing the cute new little ditty. Have a boogietastic week, Lydia!
ReplyDeleteThat 1st photo made me think of the Munsters TV show. It's so true about how to look at things. One man's spooky place is another man's home. Or a vacation spot.
ReplyDeleteI love how the B&W made everything see spooky. Yes, it really is how you look at it! The song was fun and new to me.
ReplyDeleteIncredibly atmospheric! Isn't monochrome great?
ReplyDeleteLove black and white photography and the last shot is really spooky. It is how you look at it though. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Very evocative in B&W, Lydia, but also there is touch of sadness rather than spookiness for me. Thank you for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
ReplyDeleteOh I am such a wuss and watching anything scary (or reading really suspenseful books!) puts me on high alert for days! These images really do look so spooky.
