Rainy Season

A month's worth of rain has been forecast for the next week. I woke this morning to the down pour and I'm already sick of it.

I had planned to walk the 6 kms to tonight's event but that's out.

As is any other outdoor exercise.

Lots of tearing around in the car and some how 'exercising' the dog indoors.

So while I sulk about the weather, here's the pics from last week's morning walk.

And a couple of the cheery graffiti that is popping up all over the inner city.

  1. I would take your rain in a heartbeat being heat paralyzed myself. Even my cats are flat.
Hope you and your dog will be making it through without too much hassle!

  3. It would be nice if we could simply exchange a bit of rain and coolness for a bit of sunshine and heat 🌈🌞 - I would really like to give you a bit of our heat wave and receive some (nighttime) rain ☔ from Sydney for our garden.
Today I'm sharing a pure summer collage with a bright blue sky and a swimming pond – you can see other beautiful pictures of Austrian summer nature in my blog.
All the best & warm hugs from here,

  6. Rainy days? Not at the wonderful pictures at the bridge..... We had some days of very high temperature..but now it also starts to rain with lightning and thunder....and next week it should become really colder. Hope it does not rain too much so you can make some walks.
    All the best

  10. I live in Central California and it's a desert. Not a lot of rain here so when it rains it's heaven. I hope you don't get too much rain.

  11. The light peeking on the path is very creative. I noticed their are people in the image too. Trees are planted on both sides of the path. Lovely place to walk.

  15. Don't get upset about the rain, it's so important!
Without rain, our world would be barren, empty, and lifeless.
The sun always rises, all the more beautiful after a rainy day.
