Martin Place is so far the best of VIVID for me. The flowers are just magical, and I probably spent the most time immersed in that field of flowers, colours, music and sparkles.

The bubbles are also alluring and a smart way to draw you up to the restaurants and bars.

The tunnel seemed the most popular with people, for the photos no doubt, but on the rainy evening, it was the only 'crowded' part - and not really very crowded at all.

There is also an information booth at the George Street end of Martin Place.

The Fullerton looked so splendid I almost missed the projection on the building opposite.

I spent about 45 minutes there before heading on to my next destination.

As a bonus, if you get the Metro, it exits right into the thick of it all. (Otherwise it's a short walk from Wynyard)

While it had rained all day, it was only sprinkling while I was out and it did make the reflections on the ground quite lovely. Dress warm and take an umbrella. Then head off to warm up inside for dinner!
