Full moon

Sometimes we have to feel small to realise how little it all matters.

I've had a stressful few weeks listening to people deal with the unimaginable, and I hadn't realised how it was wearing me down. Being helpless is a very emotionally eroding state (being a fixit kind of gal). Yet there are times in life when it is all there is.

As I watched the moon rise over the water, I felt at peace again. I felt lucky to be able to enjoy such simple things, and happy to be away from it all.

Sydney is a very beautiful city in an amazing world.

What are you loving this week? Linking with #SkyWatch and #GaleriaHimmelsblich

  3. The moon can be so incredible, I often wish I had a camera that can capture it in all its magnificence. Because it can look so incredibly HUGE in real life and then just tiny and someone insignificant in photos.

  4. We had a gorgeous sunset here in Qld last night. I'm further south than the fires so we haven't been impacted (yet) and the twilight periods have been stunning. I also live a bit out of town and when there's a full moon the sky is SOOOO much brighter because of it!

  5. There isn’t anything more calming that sitting by the waters edge to help clear the mind. And to be greeted with a beautiful scene makes it even better. Thanks for linking up to #myphotofriday

  9. There is nothing better than being out in nature to bring me down to earth. It brings on a different perspective and way of thinking.
