Breathe

I got my youngest a much sought after Pfizer booking, only to have it cancelled 10 hours later. I am furious with the man who has put us into such a shambles.

So as I watch the numbers go up and the hospitals shut down, all I can do is breathe.

  2. That's all you can do - I'm so sorry you're going through this worry! You've still managed a lovely photo.

  3. Great reflection. My sister has had similar problems with her vax cancelled twice before she secured an appointment. When she turned up the third time, they had lost any record of her appointment. Luckily, they let her have it.

    1. I am now 30 mins into sitting on hold because they've sent me a confirmation for the appointemnt (that they cancelled on Friday). I'm assuiming it's a glitch but if I can take it, I will. I just don't want someone else missing out if it is to be cancelledl...

  5. Hello,
Love the bridge and reflection. Pretty B&W image. People can walk right in and get the vaccine here now, no appointment is necessary. Take care, enjoy your day and week ahead.

  6. I also grew up with Great Danes. Our dog Patches (a Harlequine Dane) was the sweetest dog, and could she run.

  8. Grrrr! Australia's vaccine rollout has been so horribly botched... Hope a new vaccination appointment is forthcoming soon, Lydia. No All Seasons meme this week?

  9. We've been following the progress there, it sure is scary. After being in lockdown here for nearly 2 weeks our numbers are starting to go down, today the positive cases were 49 so not too bad.

  11. Ugh. So sorry that your son's appointment was cancelled. It does make one feel rather helpless. But hopefully he'll get the shot sooner rather than later.

  12. I'm so sorry. It's kind of a mess over here, but at least we have been able to get vaccinated. That does make a huge difference in our attitudes. Though your advice just to breathe is best, I still send best wishes for things to get better for you and your son (and for that matter the whole world!)

  13. That is hard to hear and we hope they get more to your area soon

I'm sorry you can't get your son a shot. They are plentiful here.

  16. Lovely photo of the bridge. Are you in Australia? I read on AOL news yesterday that the UK is sending 4 million doses of Pfizer vax to Australia in an exchange until Australian supplies are plentiful enough to return. Mind you, I take everything on AOL with a pinch of salt so hope it is true. I hope your youngest can get their vaccination ASAP.

    1. Yes, we have also done a swap with Singapore and even taken some from COVAX. We couldn't have messed this up more, tbh.
