I almost missed it as I was just ducking past on the way up to a concert. Called Temple it's just behind the Dell tent heading away from the Quay. Behind the Paragon Hotel on Loftus St in that funny little park that leads into the Gateway Building.
It is magnificent. I was mesmerised and really had to drag myself away or I'd be late for my show.
This is just the reflection.

I guess maybe the photo hides the size." - The slowworm is unfortunately often confused with a snake - in fact it is completely harmless: a lizard without legs, this one was only about 30 cm (11.8") long, may be a young one?
