The winner of VIVID

I almost missed it as I was just ducking past on the way up to a concert. Called Temple it's just behind the Dell tent heading away from the Quay. Behind the Paragon Hotel on Loftus St in that funny little park that leads into the Gateway Building.

It is magnificent. I was mesmerised and really had to drag myself away or I'd be late for my show.

My photos don't do justice, so see for yourself. The images on the screen are reflected on the black, still water of the pond. And the result is breath-taking.

This is just the reflection.

Last week of VIVID. Don't miss it!

  1. Dear Lydia,
the pictures look fascinating, how beautiful the sight must be in real life!
Thanks for your comment - you wrote "The worm looks like a snake!! I guess maybe the photo hides the size." - The slowworm is unfortunately often confused with a snake - in fact it is completely harmless: a lizard without legs, this one was only about 30 cm (11.8") long, may be a young one? For more informations see here:
All the best and happy weekend,
