"With a good friend, the hours are short." — Basque Proverb

A friend is out from Greece. We saw her and her husband just before Covid hit. In fact, they got Covid on the plane home. It is so lovely to see her again. Sydney put on a sunny day and we had a long lunch by the water. I tried to catch up again but the weather was not in our favour, so I will try again next week.

As they say, a day spent with friends is always a day well spent!

As an aside, for those looking for xmas presents (and I'm not sure if she posts internationally) but my friend got me this gorgeous picture of my family in stone. It's so gorgeous.

What's the #OneSmallThing that made you happy this week?

Had a wonderful dinner last night with hubby and a friend from across the street. It made us very happy.

  6. What a lovely gift, Lydia and so personal. My small pleasure this week has been watching the clouds with my grandsons walking to school. Taking time to stop, look and breathe. #WWandP

  7. How lovely to catch up with an old friend and that's such a lovely gift. My small pleasure this week would be my two hours at art class on Tuesday - a bit of time for me to be social & creative. Have a great week!

  8. Hi Lydia - I loved your little stone art family and I'm so glad you got to catch up with your friend again after so long apart. Covid certainly wreaked havoc on our world and it's nice to feel like we're taking some of our power back again.

  9. How lovely is that gift to you all. Still feeling the covid around us...and not going into anywhere crowded right now...and we still mask up unapologetically ....Thank you for linking up for Wednesday’s Words and Pics on my blog. Always good to see and read one of your posts. Hope you return next Wednesday too. Denyse.
