“Birds chirping around you is a beautiful realization that life is incredibly good. Let this sound be a gentle break in your routine.” ― Hiral Nagda

While walking around Launceston, I tried to take bird shots. Alas, all the really scenic ones are blurry. These were the best, but not so good. I was aiming at sunrise for these birds in flight with their reflection in the still water, but none worked out. However, it was fun trying.

  1. Dear Lydia, while I am reading this and looking at the photos, a blackbird is chirping in front of my window - how fitting! And: I love your photos!
    Among other things, I will show you an Austrian iris blossom meadow today.
    All the best and happy days! 🌷☘️🌷
    Hugs, Traude 😘

  2. Oh, nice fotos - first I thought that are swans - but obviously these are sea-gulls. Have a good time and all the best

  3. ...I love music, but the songs of the birds are best.

  4. Yes, birdsong is special, Lydia! Thanks for hosting.

  5. Hello :=)
    I wake up to bird song every morning, and there is not a sweeter sound. Lovely shots of the seagulls the cygnus atratus and birds in flight.
    All thebest.

  6. Hello,
    I do enjoy hearing the birds singing, they are the first sound I have been hearing in the morning. Wonderful photos of the gulls and the pretty Black Swan. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great week. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

  7. Black swans are among my favorite birds. I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild.

  8. Why do you say that? There are very good for the birds subject.
    And the light is so beautiful... Precious moments!
    Thank you, Lydia! Happy WW and a fine week! 😘❤️
