Over the holidays, I went to the beach a bit - not so much a regular beach goer, even though Sydney has over 100 beautiful beaches but on weekends away with friends. At Currawong and at Hawks Nest up the NSW coast.

These pictures are of Hawks Nest, a laid back little town in a beautiful bush setting.

While we aren't meant to sunbake, I do like to dry off in the sun, reading my book. Sun screened up, of course!

It really feels like Summer.

Your photo captures are lovely. While the temperatures here are in the 30's Fahrenheit with strong winds and the remains of snow, I dream of warmer days to come!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beach and lovely photos. Take care, have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos so different from Waikiki. Aloha
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful summer feeling . I would like to visit these beaches.

Beautiful, beautiful photos! I especially love those sunset shots.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful beach. Would love to be there. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteBeach season is the best. Here you can visit the beach all year long not just Summer. Most sundays we have been taking my daughter's dog for playtime at one of our local beaches.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! I would love to be there, though I know too much about Australian water life to dare to go in the water.
ReplyDeleteOur beaches are so very different! Aloha from Waikiki!
ReplyDeleteWow, really beautiful beaches!! So strange to see your summer pictures when it's been 20's F here with 50 mph winds! I didn't know about your link-up but will definitely join the fun! I've been looking for some sort of nature photo link-up :)

Wonderful summer pictures! Edi and I aren't beach-sitting fans either, but this beach seems nice and relaxed, with only a few people, even we could stand it for a while 😊. Enjoy the summer! I have winter pictures for you today...

A visit to the beach is a great day out.
ReplyDeleteYes, definitely Summer in those photos. I'm not a beach person myself, I'd rather take to the mountains whatever the season - always something interesting to see there. Otherwise on very hot days, I save my shopping to do then, in air-conditioned shopping centres or markets! Thanks for hosting , Lydia!
ReplyDeletea beautiful visit to the beach
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quiet beaches! I lived near Atlantic Ocean beaches when I lived in NY, but I couldn't be a sunworshiper because I'm very fair and freckle and burn terribly. I do miss hearing the ocean though and all the wonderful seafood!

ReplyDeleteMarvelous photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beach shots.
ReplyDeleteThe last two photographs is calling me "Go to the Beach!" I really enjoyed seeing your images.
ReplyDeleteWonderful views: sky, sand and sea!
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't want to walk through the sand with bare feet?
The sceneries are so outstanding!
