As I was putting together my Feb reading list, I realised in my Graham Greene rabbit hole I'd been doing a bit of the old-fashioned radio play style listening, so I thought I would make a second post and link it to the book list.
In the past, I've mentioned how much I love Pulp Fury Radio and the full cast production of Daisy Jones & the Six on audible.
This month I listened to The Living Room which I enjoyed. It's apparently a look at Greene's own struggle with his religion and his affairs.
The Missed is a full cast short series of a mystery in a small town told from different characters version of events. Sami Shah just won an award for it so I thought I'd check it out. It's entertaining and I finished it in just over a day.
All are free except Daisy Jones, so no harm in giving them a try.
Do you listen to radio plays?

My husband and I listen to podcasts or audiobooks whenever we drive the 4 hours between our homes. It makes the time fly. The only challenge is when we arrive at our destination and I don't want to stop!
ReplyDeleteI haven't really gotten into the plays so much yet, but will be giving The Living Room a listen for sure.
ReplyDeleteI saw The Missed on Audible the other day and a few other podcast series so a keen to have a listen especially now I've read your post. Thanks Lydia! Good to have you share for Min's #WWWhimsy linkup today
ReplyDeleteI only have the patience and time for Audible in the car. I cannot listen to anything much like podcasts but I am glad you are enjoying this. One day I might have a greater attention span. Not counting on it though.
ReplyDeleteI've never listened to a radio play but maybe I will now! We often listen to a podcast when we're on a long journey in the car and I've just started learning Spanish via an audiobook - game changer!
ReplyDeleteI have listened to radio plays in the past. These sound really good. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThe Late Late Night show is another good radio show to listen to.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendations.
