'A calm mind is like still water, reflecting the beauty around it' or is it the other way round?

While down in Vincentia, I managed to catch the sky swimming in the ocean. Victor Hugo said “There is one spectacle grander than the sea, that is the sky" but if you capture them together, it is quite delightful.

I am adding discovering water reflections to my list of Simple Pleasures.

  1. Your Water Reflections are pretty today. The bottom picture reminds me of a beach at St. John's that I posted my YouTube picture back in 2009.

  11. Those are lovely, Lydia. Your quote reminds me of Zhuangzi's paradox: "I dreamed I was a butterfly, flitting around in the sky; then I awoke. Now I wonder: Am I a man who dreamt of being a butterfly, or am I a butterfly dreaming that I am a man?" :-) Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.

  12. When the clouds swim in the puddles and the sea reflects the blue color of the sky, I find it incredibly beautiful!
