It is fast approaching. With the Black Friday sales coming in my inbox, I'm madly getting the shopping done.
Everything can be done online now, which takes away the hassle but also lacks the festive feel of walking amongst all the lovely decorations.
I popped into the Good Food & Wine Markets and got a few little 'extras'.
Done the charities - #Itsinthebag delivered and the Reverse advent calendar dropped off to Addi Road Food Pantry.
Last night I put together the Playmobil advent calendar (for I think they 21st time!) so it's ready to go on Sunday.Got the solar lights on the lawn heating up but keep forgetting to check at night which ones still work...MUST do that tonight!
The #XmasLinky is for Christmas themed posts, open Friday until Sunday night. You can share two posts, but please then comment on as many.
Linking with #Sognafaret #WordlessWednesday #Skywatch and #GalleriaHimmelsblich just for the last pic with the moon near the Christmas tree. Not the best photos because taken with iphone but I like that I caught it none the less....
Shopping on line is what we do too, but I do miss the malls and shopping centers. Beautiful shots and I love all the goodies. Yummy.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Lydia. ♥
Hi, Lydia. Did you find out which solar lights still work?! I have not started my Christmas shopping. My husband side, we bring one present each and play the White Elephant game. Fun, fun! On my family side, we draw names for the adults. So just need to get the one gift for the name I draw and then we all still get a gift for the grand girls.
ReplyDeleteI like the online shopping. Now I do like going into stores for the after holiday mark downs!
Take care and best wishes.
You are doing Christmas up right!!
ReplyDeletePretty tree.
ReplyDeleteThe spirit of Christmas is definitely alive and well at your house. I am just now writing out Christmas cards. I know everyone does it electronically to save money and time; but I'm old school. Next, I need to wrap the presents I have so far while listening to Christmas Carols. I love, love your snowman. I hope all your Christmas wishes come true.
ReplyDeleteThe season for joy is just round the corner! And your post shows it so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shopping time of the year. I must say I only have one present left to buy and then I'm completely finish.

A fine Christmas celebration... thank you for sharing.
