Last year I went to Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour and it was a lavish spectacular delight visually, audibly and in ambiance. This year, I was determined not to miss it again, and after missing a few days of rush tickets, I decided to buy a $99 ticket late in the day (as had both the people I was seated with) to see this year's production of West Side Story because the weather was perfect for it.
The back drop of the Harbour bridge and Opera House as the sunsets is enchanting, and the trees festooned with festive lights makes for a magical setting.
So as a late loving life, I'm loving living in this city with so many opportunities on our doorstep.
The show ends on the 21st of April so check the weather (as it's on rain or shine) and book at any of the following:

DeleteThanks for joining "My Sunday Best" meme, Lydia, they're wonderful photos and I'm sure the opera performance is fantastic in such a wonderful setting. I've been to the Sydney Opera House several times for opera performances, but never in the open.
