Lockdown Lite

Last week there was a post about helping your mental health after coming out of lockdown. It had 3 points and the second was 'Remember those you have lost'. It took my breath away like a swift punch. For some countries, this is a given. For us, it's extremely rare. So our inconvenience of yet another school holidays with plans collapsing, or stuck at home, is really a small price to pay.

For those not under orders, can you get out and spend like crazy to help the businesses that must be buckling under the loss.

For everyone, stay safe and mask up and if required, stay home.

I am hoping for everyone our second week of holidays can be 'normal'...

  1. That's an impressive looking coffee machine! Good coffee does save one's sanity not only during lockdowns...

  2. Wow its heavy work to get that in this condition. Beautiful.

  3. I'm presently looking for a coffee maker like this one (my middle name is Expresso), the good ones are so expensive!

    1. Yes, I have 2 double shots first thing in the morning. Can't function without them. And yes, so expensive. I was all anti it (we had a much cheaper one) but now it's my favourite thing....

  4. Now THAT'S a coffee machine! I'm sure such a gleaming machine makes great coffee - and I love your selfies ;)

  5. This looks like a very professional coffee maker! We went out to dine in a restaurant recently and it was overflowing with business. I think everyone wants to eat out again. I just hope they are also as anxious to get fully vaccinated ;)

  6. That makes my little coffee pod machine look pathetic. Bring on normality!

  7. Now that is a coffee machine! Too bad Mom doesn't like coffee. Our lockdown is a thing of the past and we are thrilled to be back to almost completely normal.

  8. I about to have my first cup of coffee this morning. I'm so ready.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥

  9. I really hope all can be counted on to go as well as possible from now on. Things here have been getting so very much better

  10. I feel for you, Lydia. Lockdown is hard work, but it does save lives and it is for the good of our community. Coffee helps, good coffee helps even more.
